President Yoweri Museveni has promised to support some workers who operate in Katwe Industrial Centre in Kampala along the Kampala – Entebbe highway that he will assist them in order to ensure that their businesses perform better in the fabrication of metals than they are currently doing. He assured them that he will send Mr. Emmanuel Musoke (Kisanja), who is charge of overseeing youth activities in State House, to find out what their requirements entail. “The medicine for this place is similar to that of Najeera,” he remarked. The President was yesterday speaking to metal fabricators of Katwe during a brief stop over on his way to Entebbe. President Museveni offered over Shs400 million to Najeera-based Youth Group in Kira, Wakiso district to purchase state of the art new and modernized machinery for metal fabrication operations, a move that has largely made the youth group efficient and as a result 25 more groups have sprung up as more and more youth receive training in metal fabrication business using the Najeera foundry as a central point. President Museveni also made a stop over at Zana where people warmly greeted him. He told them that under the Movement Government, Uganda continues to receive more high-powered visitors who want to know and see for themselves opportunities that the Pearl of Africa offers in trade and tourism, among other sectors. - See more at: https://www.yowerikmuseveni.com/news-updates/president-promises-support-...
